MDM Tool Supply LLC supports the machining,metalworking and industrial industries with premium cutting products, superior service, and technical support throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. Serving the Industry since 1979, our factory trained sales team specializes in optimizing machining processes, improving machine performance and increasing productivity. Our in house technical experts can assist you with everything from your difficult machining needs to streamlining your procurement process. We support our customers with three locations and 30 plus employees averaging 10 plus years of industrial supply experience.

We maintain a wide variety of items in our local warehouses to meet the needs of our customers. Our inventory includes a lot of hard to find items and if we don’t have it, we know where to find it. We will add items to our inventory if you request it. Our goal is to have the product when you need it. Orders received by 9am for in stock product will be delivered same day, if requested. If you need something late or on a weekend, call us; we are available 24/7. If we have it, we will be glad to get it to you. If we don’t have it, we will try to help develop a workaround solution. Our goal is to help you complete the job as efficiently as possible.

Cost Savings
Our goal is to help our customers save money in the machining process. We have found the most significant reductions in cost can be achieved by focusing on reducing machine cycle time and increasing throughput. As seen in the chart on the right, improvements in efficiency impact 80% of the cost structure—while reductions in tool prices impact only 3% of the overall cost. We also provide custom designed training for your employees to keep them up to date on the latest metalworking technology. This helps them get the job done quicker with fewer steps. These documented cost savings steps have resulted in cost savings that well exceed the cost of the tooling.

We have achieved additional cost savings through vendor consolidation and product standardization. Integrated Supply/Tool Room Management
MDM has created many successful partnerships with customers to assist in managing tooling and MRO procurement, while lowering usage and costs. Each engagement is uniquely designed to meet the specific needs of the customer considering the items covered, physical plant, billing requirements and reporting options. In addition to the standard items, we specialize in sourcing the unique items needed to meet the changing demands of the work. We offer a fully automated tracking system encompassing everything from tool vending to radio frequency tagging of tools and supplies. Terms Of Business

Shipping
All items are shipped FOB Shipping Point. Freight will be added to the invoice unless other arrangements are made at the time of order.

Returns
Prior to returning any goods, please call for a Return Material Authorization Number. Products ordered in error and subsequently returned are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returns not received within 30 days of initial shipment will not be accepted. Returns will not be accepted for custom-made or modified items. Warranty returns are subject to inspection by the manufacturer and credit will not be issued until we receive credit from the manufacturer. Products damaged during shipment must be report to the carrier upon receipt with same day notice to MDM. Any hidden damage must be reported to MDM within 48 hours of receipt. All damaged goods and packaging must be retained until we authorize disposal for credit to be issued. Credits not used with six months from the date of the credit memo are void.

Prices
Prices are subject to change without notice. We also reserve the right to correct pricing errors. We also reserve the right to cancel any order or limit quantities. All prices are provided excluding freight and taxes unless otherwise noted.

Payment Terms
Payment for invoices is due 30 days from the date of the invoice. A 1% discount is granted for invoices paid within 10 days from the date of invoice. The discount does not apply to freight or taxes and is limited to the amount shown on the face of the invoice. We also accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express as payment within 10 days of the invoice date. Invoices paid by credit card are not eligible for an early payment discount. Invoices not paid within terms are subject to a 1.5% per month interest charge. Customer is responsible for any costs incurred to collect past due amounts.
